Musée d'Orsay e algumas dicas de viagem
Hoje tive uma tarde mais do que agradável entre amigos conversando sobre viagens. Um casal de amigos acabou de voltar de BsAs, o pai da minha amiga está indo para uma viagem "oriental" no final do mês (Dubai, Emirados, Pequim, Xangai, Nagasaki, Cingapura, Bangcok, etc) e eu sonhando com Paris.
Como o pai da minha amiga já foi várias vezes para Paris, aproveitei pra garimpar algumas dicas.
Chegando em casa, fui dar uma olhada no site pra pesquisar um pouco mais. (links aí embaixo, em francês e inglês, tem também em italiano e espanhol)
Uma olhada rápida já me deu a impressão de um site bem completo. Fui direto na parte que fala de 2011 pra ter certeza do que vai estar rolando quando eu for pra lá (vai que eles resolvem fechar pra reformas justo em abril né? rs). Não fala nada de estar fechado, mas sim sobre uma repaginação na organização das exposições (os Impressionistas continuam lá em cima, pelo visto).
Vou até o "calendar". Descubro que em abril haverá exposição de fotografia pré-rafaelita (???), que no começo do mês (dia 5) abre exposição "Manet, the man who invented modern art" e começo a gostar ainda mais da brincadeira!!

More than a one man retrospective for Edouard Manet (1832-1883), the exhibition Manet, the Man who Invented Modern Art explores and highlights the historical situation around him, including the reaffirmed legacy of Romanticism, the impact of his contemporaries and the changes in the media at the time.
Manet was also Modern in the way he challenged the ancient masters from Fra Angelico to Velazquez. This exhibition takes another look at the many links that the painter resolutely created and rejected within both public and political spheres. For modernity was also a question of integration and of resistance. The exhibition will therefore focus on the teaching of Thomas Couture, Baudelaire’s support and encouragement, the reform of religious art, erotic imagery, the art of the fragment(ed), his relationship with women painters (Berthe Morisot, Eva Gonzalès), the temptations of high society, his decision to remain outside the main Impressionism movement and his complicity with Mallarmé at his darkest.
The reconstruction of his exhibition at the Gallery La Vie moderne, rganised in March-April 1880 at the start of the Salon, will raise the question finally of what “the freedom to create” meant to him. This means that Manet, the Man who Invented Modern Art focuses on later works that are less well known and, more importantly, little-understood if regarded as simply a stage of the process towards "pure painting".
This is the first major exhibition devoted to Manet in France since the memorable 1983 exhibition at the Galeries Nationales du Grand Palais, organised by Françoise Cachin, former director of the Musée d'Orsay.
Busco a sessão de preços e descubro que para as exposições permanetes a entrada é de 8 euros, para as exibições especiais 9,5 euros e tem passaportes que incluem por exemplo o Musée d'Orsay e o Musée Rodin (amo!!) pelo preço de 12 euros.
Bem, incluo na minha lista de passeios imperdíveis e termino minha visita [virtual] passando na lojinha do museu... hehe

Como o pai da minha amiga já foi várias vezes para Paris, aproveitei pra garimpar algumas dicas.
- A sugestão de acomodação foi aproveitar algum hotel da rede Ibis.
- Vale a pena me alimentar com 'demi' baguetes e pedir o vinho da casa.
- Andar de metrô é tudo: "Paris não tem mistério, tem metrô" rsrs
- Pegar mapa na Galerias Lafayete.
- Descobrir que a arte está também nas ruas (pontes, estátuas, etc...).
- Se tiver que escolher entre os museus, priorizar o Museu d'Orsay.
